Mopar Fans  . This car is probably 1 of 1 left on the Planet with 28k miles and theses FACTORY Options !     Super "RARE" 1962 Dodge Polara 2dr Coupe ! The car has had  one repaint

in the Original Shell Biege and is a " NO RUST EVER". 28. 00  mile (believed to be original) Car. Oh . and it gets better . this Dodge Polara has FACTORY  " AIR " . Factory Power

windows. power steering. power brakes and tinted glass. on a  2dr coupe !  The Interior is  ORIGINAL two tone.  black & creme bucket seats with center console.   The all original

interior is in extremely good condition.  The original carpet is slightly faded in spots . /p>

The driver seat has two 1-1/2" tears on the "seam" (easy repair). Front seat belts and 2 (oil & water ) stewart warner gauges have been added for safety. The dash is original . the gauge

cluster. glass. trim . paint and padding is near perfect condition .   EVERYTHING works . even the cigar lighters . except the original clock and AM radio . The Air conditioning blows cold

however the blower fan only blows on "low".   I believe the fan resister is bad  ($90 for NOS resister on ebay)

The underboby is spotless with NEW springs. shocks . as tank. bushings and a 2 1/2" flowmaster exhaust system. The car was built approximately 7 years ago by a retired detroit

engineer and he payed attention to the details !

The Paint. Chrome. Stainless. Pot metal trim. Glass. underbody. and weather strips are an honest STRONG 8. 5 - 9 High Qaulity Driver Build ! (and I'm pretty picky).

I have tried.  to the best of my abilities to give an honest description on the car.   There are minor blemishes here and there .   ( I can find them on $100. 00 builds).

The car is . very . ery nice!   When I buy them.  I don't appreciate being disappointed. so I make every attempt NOT to disappoint !

The original 361 engine has been REPLACED by a 1969 era " BUILT" 440 C. I. with Alum. heads. Alum. "mopar" intake. a cam. Holley double pumper and Headmen headers and God

knows what else !!   This baby is BAD ASS !   The engine compartment DETAIL is amazing and looks like a factory installation.   The"  PUSH BUTTON "  Automatic Transmission is an

Alum Torqueflite and has a high stall speed converter. reverse manual valve body and a shift kit .    Bringing up the rear is a 8 3/4 Sure Grip with 3:55 gears !!

I invite you to come inspect the car if possible.   You will not be disappointed !  A Great addition to ANY Collection !

I have some interest by a few local collectors. so I reserve the right to stop the auction early.   I have set the reserve Very reasonable for a car of this qaulity.  as I do want to sell it !

I have liquidated most of my car collection and some of my real estate holdings and am preparing to Retire.

This is an auction. so please don't ask the reserve.   I will however entertain reasonable "BUY IT NOW OFFERS" at smokerkcj@yahoo. com

Buyer is responsible for shipping . though I will be glad to assist with the details. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hrs of the auction ending. Pay Pals . ash or bank wire only.

Final payment will be CASH or Bank wire transfer  ONLY.     Good Luck bidding !

The title says Polara 500, the model in the details says Cornet? Very serious but would like to see more pictures and details about the restoration.

from Kerry Cameron, dated 04 july 2016
Does the "high stall" converter cause heat problems? Will this engine run on pump gas? How old are the tires? What is the nearest Good sized Airport to location of car. I am very interested, as I grew up driving one of these.
