THIS IS A 1937 BUICK CENTURY 4 DOOR PHAETON CONVERTIBLE. ( ORIGINALLY SEDAN) VERY RARE CAR AND HARD TO FIND. THIS WAS A STUDIO OWNED CAR BY THE DESILU STUDIO'S IN LOS ANGELES. CAR WAS USED IN THE MOVIE INDUSTRY AND SHOWN IN VARIOUS MOVIES OVER THE YEARS. AN OLDER RESTORE WITH THE BODY BY THE CARRIAGE BUILDER FISHER. THE TOP WAS DONE PROFESSIONALLY MANY YEARS AGO. THERE ARE NO SIDE WINDOWS. THE CONVERTIBLE TOP IS IN GOOD CONDITION AND IS A MANUAL TOP. THIS DOES NEED SOME TLC TO MAKE IT A NICE ONE. IF ONLY CARS COULD TALK I AM SURE THIS ONE WOULD HAVE SOME GOOD STORIES CONSIDERING IT'S HISTORY. HAS THE ORIGINAL STRAIGHT 8 CYL. ENGINE WITH THREE SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DOES START AND CAN BE DRIVEN BUT I DID NOTICED WHEN DRIVING IT LOCAL THE BRAKES NEED TO BE BLED. GOOD SET OF WIDE WHITE WALL TIRES. THIS MAY OR MAY NOT MAKE IT TO THE END TO OF THE AUCTION WITH THE RIGHT OFFER SO WE DO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END WE EXPORT I will assist in shipping. If you are overseas.
