Beautiful 1953 MORGAN Plus 4 Two Seater 3 position Drop Head Coupe for sale

This is a beautiful. Rare and very Origional 1953 Morgan Plus 4 Two Seater Drop Head Coupe in Blue with Black Leather Interior. The Car was restored a few years ago by Richard Conroy in Ireland it had the body removed and the origional chassis was cleaned and then Powder Coated as was the schuttle. drive shaft and gear box covers. copper brake pipes with stainless steel flexible hose`s and new brakes linings were also fitted. All the nuts. bolts and screws used were stainless steel as was the new exhaust. The origional Vanguard 2088cc Engine was striped cleaned and re-built using the origional parts as almost no wear was detected. the rear axle was re-built with new bearings as was the front suspension. New wooden floor and panels. New Lether and carpets and a new 3 position mowhair hood were also fitted. I could go on but sufice it to say that anything that need to be done was. the car has done very little mileage since the re-build and has just gone through re-commisioning with a full service and break overhaul.

The car starts and drives like a dream the gearbox is crisp and direct and for an origional moss box that is saying somthing. as I am sure you are aware the Vangaurd engine is a superb unit with unbalivable torque as I said this is a very rare car as only a hand full were manufactured in right had drive and to find one with the origional engine gearbox etc is unbalivable.
