Battery needs replaced - It will start with a jump box!!!

Black Convertible Saab 900 Turbo - the top has a big rip in the middle upper top - then one on driver side rear side above driver back window.
Tires are decent and seem to hold air ok.
There has been standing water behind the back seat from the top leaking.

The rips seem to be " taped " shut with a little time.

With a JUMP START / BOX - this Saab fires up - it been sitting awhile - but it did NOT hesitate to start right up.

I took it for a drive up and down a road got it up to 60 MPH and went through all 5 gears without ISSUE.

That is all i know - it steers fine.

I rolled up and down all the windows.

The top release button DOES NOT WORK - i have not looked into why or why not.

The clear coat on the hood and back trunk lid are peeling - i am not a SAAB guy - not sure if that means it been repainted? The body is straight i dont see any visible rust.

The passenger side seat has a small tear and some paper towels are " STUCK " to it ?

SOLD AS IS WHERE IS - This car has been sitting for awhile . how long do not know.

Not sure if i would drive it a LONG Distance as is ?

Could be ok - but i dont know anything about it other than what i posted above.
