golf mk1 cabriolet, modified

this is the listing for my golf mk 1 cabriolet i have owned for about 5 years. virtually every part has been renewed or upgraded. the car has tax and mot. it is now for sale as i wish to purchase a new project but do not have enough space on the driveway to keep both. this car has not had a full restoration and would take a little work to get it up to a show standard. the new parts on this car cost over £5000 without labour or even the purchase of the car. It comes with a service history and invoice folder about 3 inches thick.

Engine

Golf Mk 3 2 l 8 v 2 e engine bottom end bought with 65. 00 miles. rebuilt with balanced crankshaft and New piston rings.

TSR engine conversion kit. Steel head gaskets and apr motor sport engine bolts.

1. 8 driver carburettor cylinder heads (me 3 code. mexican) bought newly reconditioned 60. 00 miles

piper 276 degree camshaft and veneer pulley. new cam pulley set. cambelt. uprated bosch Battery. new Alternator. full exhaust system. Ashley motor sport 4-2-1 manifold. alloy rocker cover . engine mounts. clutchclutch cable. speedo drive cable + drive gear. magnetic sump plug. New rtx starter motor.

Cooling system

Samco silicone coolant hoses.

Nissens aluminium high flow race radiator. Low temp thermostat and thermoswitch. Audi 80 radiator twin fan shroud. (coupe 1989-1996) (fan 1 theroswitch operated. fan 2 manual switch) new water pump. Mocal sandwich plate and oil cooler
