CHEVY 5 WINDOW PICK UP HOT ROD PROJECT

51 Chevy project Yorkshire.

All import paperwork just in 51 Chevy 5 window lwb pick up runs. Needs some welding to cab

Wiper mech and screen centre trim stolen glove box lid missing other than that all there but needs full overhaulwill add more pics shortly.

The truck is 95% complete only missing trivial minor small easy to post items. Missing glove box lid and some wiper componants. there is one arm one spindle and a motor in the cab but looks like the good items in pics were stolen at some point.

The truck runs. I'm in the process of rebuilding the carb as bottom butterfly was jammed so ran but ran fast all freed off now but I need new gaskets which I will order today. So carb will be rebuilt by midweek. So starter motor works and engine runs. That's as far as I have got with it at the moment. I may get further and increase the price accordingly. Its had an oil change but would advise a flush and second change before you start to run it frequently.

There is a water leak. it could be rad it could be bottom hose. I've yet to investigate further. The front bench is complete but needs re-trim
the load bed is all there but the tailgate bottom roll is pretty shot. The fenders have dents but there mainly single impact dents so would if you chose knock out real easy. The body buffer pads have deteriorated in places so the body doesn't sit square. Ideally they all need replacing.

The doors are good. have rust but not rotten. The cab however needs the usual repairs

WELDING.

Drivers floor needs attention and the lower front cab quarters need repairs. If it was me. I would be buying full front quarter panels then you can use as much or little as you like. there $58 each

You could get away with short panels but price difference is only $15 so get the larger and cut off as much as you need.

You really need to view it to completely asses the trucks requirements. I'm selling as I need to fund property so no part ex I'm afraid unless its very minimal cost and under priced part ex or unless its a jcb in g. w. o. as I will need to clear it quick.
