1953 Alvis TA21-100 Saloon by Mulliner lhd for sale

1953 Alvis 3 Liter Saloon (TA 21-100). wood and cast aluminum coach body by Mulliner.  Rwd. manual 4-speed gearbox. left hand drive. with two su carbs. It is all original from head to toe and it runs.    
  TA21 24888 has not been heard of in Alvis circles since it was despatched from the Alvis Works on 26 September 1952 to Cavalier Motor Cars. Ltd. . 2956 Crenshaw Boulevard. Los Angeles.
M2565 is correct Mulliner body number for chassis 24888.   On a TA21 the chassis. engine and car numbers are the same.
There were 1319 TA21s produced. 3 Prototypes. 1003 Mulliner Saloons. 303 Tickford Drophead Coupés. 9 Graber.
82 lhd TA21s were exported to the States. 11 Mulliner Saloons & 71 Tickford Dhcs.   44 are believed to survive. 30 Dhcs and 14 Saloons.
9 lhd TA21s were exported to Canada. 4 Mulliner Saloons & 5 Tickford Dhcs.
Based on my research I believe there are 415 TA21s that survive in some form.   A few are now Specials and several are severely knackered.   Of the survivors 239 were built as Saloons and 176 as Dhcs.
