EXTERIOR
When this stunning MR2 was first delivered to us here at 4 Star. we were very impressed with the over-all condition and the gleaming 'Super White' paintwork which is a fantastic retro colour against the cars angular. origami-like lines. The paintwork remains in excellent condition. almost 'as-new' and is a true testament to how well it has been cared for throughout its life.

After a thorough inspection it is evident that this example does not suffer from any of the common rust issues that can be associated with MR2s. the bodywork defies its age. This cherished. unmolested example even comes with its original Reg Heynes & Sons number plates. rear window sticker and tax disc holder.

INTERIOR
Being a car of the 1980s. the interior has a wonderful contrasting blue theme that runs through out the interior. The cockpit wraps around both passengers feeling cosy and compact. Both seats remain in lovely condition with no wear to any of the seat bases. bolsters or piping and are fully adjustable with lumbar support for extra comfort. The blue theme continues along the dashboard and centre console which is free from any unsightly marks or fading from sun exposure.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Having just been serviced at NBA Sports Cars it has benefited from a full service including. replacement cambelt. oils and filters. brake discs. front and rear brake pads. clutch slave cylinder. roll bar link as well as a multi-point inspection. At the first turn of the key the engine fires into life. idling correctly up to temperature with a smooth. quiet engine note.

With a low seating position in the MR2. the 5-speed gearbox is positioned perfectly for quick changes and is a joy to operate. feeling tight and precise. Shifting through the gears in the MR2 is just one of many reasons to enjoy this fantastic little sports car.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The 14" polished alloy wheels have all recently been refurbished and look fantastic sitting in the arches of the MR2. They are shod in a matching set of Pirelli P6000 which all have plenty of tread remaining. The brakes work as they should pulling the car to a controlled and effortless stop.

HISTORY FILE
The MR2 was first registered in August 1988 and had its 1 month service by supplying dealer Reg Heynes & Sons at 1. 96 miles. The original service booklet is still present with 13 stamps. showing on average a service every 4k miles.

In the history file there are 16 MOT certificates dating back to 1991 to help verify the mileage. as well as 3 SORN declarations from 2007-2009 have been kept.

The original Toyota document holder is also still present. containing the owners manuals and booklets.
