DAIMLER SP250 1961 SHOW CONDITION.FULL HISTORY FROM NEW

This special Daimler Dart has spent its entire life in Yorkshire always garaged by it's three owners from new. the last for over 25 years.

It has the original invoice from Tunnicliffe's £1817. 9 s. 6 d. Most importantly this car has been serviced every 1000 miles or each year from new with every stamped invoice.

In 1990 the car was treated to a repaint and rack and pinion steering fitted then valued by marque specialist at £20 K and in concours condition. The car since then has only covered a total of a few thousand miles to local car shows where it has got a fine collection of plaques and trips to the m. o. t testing station.

The car starts first time and is fitted with a twin stainless steel exhaust system. it drives as it should and has just had a major service due to not being used in recent years. This service had all new brakes fitted including front flexi hoses and fluids. It is a dream to drive with no smoke or engine noises or rattles.

This car has never been in an accident or had any panels replaced with the paint like glass it still looks and feel factory fresh. The underside is very clean with no rust or marks it is exceptionally clean. It has just been m. o. o'ed and the examiner commented on how clean the car is both on top and underside and could certainly be brought back to it's former concours condition.

The leather inside is unmarked and without rips and is very fresh not like that old car feel more like a 2 year old car. driving this car will bring a smile to your face also the sound is out of this world

The history file is vast with Handbook. original invoice and every service bill with miles recorded to confirm what the car has done when and where. I doubt you will find a better more comprehensive file anywhere old m. o. t's and invoices even for the new battery fill a very large A 4 box binder. Car to be sold without reserve. but advertised elsewhere so may be withdrawn. This is a £40 K car( I have been offered the starting price by a classic car dealer) so please no time wasters or silly offers. The car will be sold or moved to my holiday home and the Jaguar Mark 2 will be sold instead.

I could fill pages with how good this car is but would welcome any inspection.
