Daimler Six 4.0 LWB Extremely rare 4 seat version MOT 3/8/17 FSH.

Here we have a very rare Daimler Six 4. 0 Litre Long Wheel Base four seat Version. Supplied new to the Managing Director of Boots in Nottingham she has been well looked after and comes with a comprehensive folder of receipts. full service history. updated and fully operational original car phone. original and complete document  pack. original tool kit and the original sales brochure. Still together after 21 years!    Sometimes referred to as the Majestic although never badged as such ( that was the previous XJ40 ) she benefits from the £2500 (in 1995!)  pound rear seat option with electrically reclining heated seats.    She has rear picnic tables. cocktail cabinet. rear blinds and of course the extra leg room of the LWB model.   The headlining was pinned up in the back when we bought her which is a common fault and also we were advised the rear wheel bearing was noisy but neither were obtrusive and we never got around to replacing them. The car went through Mot with no mention of either.  As you would expect the car is fully loaded with every extra including ice cold air con. electric seats. cruise control etc etc. If you know the Marque you know the spec! She has 10 months MOT and is not due service for another eight thousand miles. The bodywork is shining British Racing Green and in very good condition with only small areas of bubbling on the rear drivers wheel arch and the lower leading edge of the bonnet above  the headlight. There is a receipt for applying underbody wax some time back and it has obviously helped.   Neither are obtrusive and the bodywork has been complemented at a few shows and also by the Mot Tester! She has been carefully maintained throughout her life with 17 Service Stamps over 20 years and since Feb 2014 has only driven 8000 miles. We purchased the car in England and toured home in it through the Lake District and Scotland ( about 800 miles!) and since then we have enjoyed two seasons at Classic car shows here in Ireland and weekend runs when the weather permitted. not that often!! The car has been completely reliable and a joy to drive but unfortunately due to health problems I have difficulty  with access so we decided to replace her with a Classic Range Rover and let her go to a good home with a double garage.

To summarise a very good example of a rare model which will only increase in value with the top spec and a personal plate worth a significant sum  included.
