1969 ‘G' Daimler Sovereign (420)

Previously restored but has been stored indoors and un-used for about 2 years. I have recently replaced both fuel pumps and added fresh fuel and the car now runs and drives.

Re-sprayed white (I believe the original car was red) and internally re-trimmed in cream leather.

The cars looks well from 10 meters but closer inspection reveals paintwork blemishes and other areas that to be perfectly honest would need attention to improve. Overall the car would make an ideal winter project with most of the improvements needed classed as cosmetic.

In its previously life it has had the brakes & cooling system overhauled. Stainless exhaust system. The AED (autochoke) needs attention to the wiring but the car starts ok and runs up to temp with very good oil pressure. Tyres were all new in 2016.

I recently drove it on a 20 mile test run without issue but I would recommend transporting the car if going any real distance, due to the fact the car has not been used regularly for a number of years.

I have a friend with a transporter and can arrange delivery if needed.

Private sale as I'm downsizing my collection, due to the shortage of storage space. Available to view in Blackwood South Wales.
