Hillman Minx convertible with full mot. This car has been owned by a pub landlord who has had it tested every year for the past 10 yrs or so and then driven back into his garage never to move again.
I bought it and started to check it over and have done all the mechanical side of the car. I have bought 4 new tyres cleaned the brakes. and then left it for ten months not having time to carry on.
The car has a reconditioned water pump. new shoes and front wheel cylinders recon radiator. Have some new parts to go with it. rear wheel cylinders though not needed. timing chain. full engine gasket sets engine mounts. ect ect. The hood is good but a little tight through age but I have ordered a new black one which I am still waiting for to come as they make them to order. This can be bought seperatley if needed. Can't include it now as it's not here yet so will be selling without for now.
I took for an mot this week and it passed with advisories on:
Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases Oil sump leaking Rear diff is leaking Front wheel bearing has slight play offside front
Paint work is very nice though very slight bubbling on top of wings. missing a chrome tip on front wing. This car has not been driven for years so will need oil changes and a full service in my opinion.
