hillman superminx 1962 taxed until end of may 2014. mot until 10 th june 2014

this was a south-frican import into the uk in 1984. very very solid underneath.

fitted with a 2. 8 ford v 6 cologne engine and 5 speed v 6 type 9 gearbox. custom 2 piece prop.

larger rad fitted with twin electric cooling fans.

new blade type fuse box fitted. (everything has its own fuse)

ford capri rear axle on leaf springs.

front axle is an austin ten beam axle on leaf springs with steering rack and custom column with sliding joint to
help eliminate bump steer(which it does)

drum brakes all round. with sierra servo and mastercylinder.

early hillman minx 15" front wheels with 145/80/15 tyres. mondeo 15" rear wheels with 225/60/15.

airfilter potrudes through bonnet. cover with plexi glass red scoop.

windows tinted red. (side windows only)

fake moon tank at front within grill.

oldspice decals. names etc are vinyl so can be removed(family names will be removed)

inside is fairly original apart from grant steering wheel and custom made gearstick.

there are a few problems that need addressing. propshaft needs centre rubber bush replacing(supplied)

a new distributer. got a motorcraft electronic one but needs rotor arm and ignition box.

I'm open to offers or swaps etc.

realy looking for a rover p 6 v 8 auto. must be mechanical good. but no rust buckets.

no time wasters please.
