1955 Armstrong Siddeley Saphire 346 Tax & Mot Exempt Taxed until 31 st May 2014 Mot expired 10 June 2013 Following an argument with a Badger the Saphire was the Subject of a full respray with remedial Welding wherever needed at a cost of £5000 Followed by a full service inc points. lugs. ondenser. ils and filters and a tune up also had new windscreen rubber fitted the car runs and drives just fine but can be very heavy at slow speed ( no power steering ) and weighs in at about 2 t but still cruses at 70 mph with no hassle the Saphire dose require some further TLC to bring it up to top condition would benefit from new carpets and the dash could do with being re varnished other items needing sorting are horn stopped working so has been bypassed to a switch underneath dash Bonnet release cable broke and has been replaced with a rod system ( it works ) the front and rear seats are starting to show their age very small hole in drivers seat ( broken spring? ) will include a leather renovation kit
also included are a large number of spares a Full set of second hand body panels 4 doors. onnet. oot. ront and rear wings. ront inner wings. ear wheel spats and i belive an almost full set interior wood trim spare windscreen with poor surround and some engine parts ie starter motor dynmo and some other small parts.
Now for the boring part the Saphire must be paid for and collected within 7 day of auction end unless awaiting cheque clearance or by prior arrangement
