1990 Ford Mustang for sale
Current customer rating:
For sale is a 1990 LX Notchback 5. 0 Car was originally a 4 cyl and now has a 1996 Ford Explorer 5. 0 in it. The car was originally from South Carolina (it is rust free. the undercarriage is exceptionally clean) before I bought it a few months ago. Clear title. in my name. in my hand. no games. Car has 140. xx miles on it (the odometer has rolled over). The car runs excellent. shifts excellent and is a blast to drive. The only addition you may want to make is air conditioning as the pump has been taken out to get some extra HP. Car has power windows and door locks. everything works. The pictures don't pick up small defects like some of the cracked trim in some spots so I tried to point that out in pictures. If you'd like a specific picture or have a specific question. I'm always happy to help so please ask BEFORE bidding.
To make it easy and fair. here are the things the car needs done:
1. The oil pressure gauge is not hooked up. I have a brand new Autometer gauge that I will include
2. The coolant temp gauge is not hooked up. I have a brand new auto meter gauge I will include 3. You will need to install the dual Autometer gauge holder on the a-piller which I will include 4. The passenger side exterior door handle does not work. the door must be opened from the inside 5. The hazard lights do not flash. Im not sure whats wrong. most likely the switch 6. The car has no climate control (a/c or heat) the compressor and plumbing was removed
7. The power mirrors work but you need a switch to plug in to the existing plug 8. Because the car has gears (either 3. 73 or 4. 10. prior power installed) the speedo gauge reads about 10-15 mph to high 9. The e-brake works but if I were to keep the car. I would probably have someone re-do the cabling as its not as strong as id like 10. I would swap the existing vac-booster for the brakes over to a newer version. The car stops well but I think it would really help drive the big calipers up front
The following has been done to it since I bought the car in July:
5 Lug Conversion Brand new 1999 Ford Mustang dual piston front calipers w/13" rotors Swapped to brand new 1993 Cobra master cylinder 18 x 9" AMR Wheels w/ brand new Nexxen 235/40/18's in front and 255/40/18's in back Brand new Maximum Motorsports solid steering shaft (car has power steering) Professionally installed speakers w/4 channel amp and 10" Fosgate powered sub Brand new Corbeau Leather sport seats w/ Corbeau seat brackets for extra leg room Freshly rebuilt (this month) T 5 Transmission
Brand new RAM Clutch installed LED Headlight conversion (stock headlights are terrible) New steering wheel Fresh repaint New Alloy USA axles out back
New headlight switch New power steering rack New ignition cylinder w/new keys New catalytic converters New speedometer cable Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers
