1948 Morris Commercial CV 13/5 27 seat bus. Reputed to be the only survivor - never to be repeated. reg no. OSJ 512 Chassis number CVF 13/ cc petrol side valve engine in excellent condition. starts & drives beautifully.
Supplied new to JMT Jersey Motor Transport as J 11429. itted with its 7 ft 6 ins body. Arrived back on the mainland in 1976. more recently the owner before usowning it since 2000. now requiring re-commissioning.
The Morris still bears some of its original artwork. as it would have been when put to work with the JMT. Paperwork stating that the engine was rebuilt only a few years ago. and at a guess its only travelled a few hundred miles since. withthe brakes also being overhauled at the same time.
Also present are plaque for the London to Brighton run in 2001. an agedating letter from the DVS in Jersey. and current V 5.
An amazing business proposition as a wedding vehicle or a leisure vehicle. r even restore it to its original glory.
