MORRIS MINOR 1000 Pickup GREEN 1970 J Reg for sale

I am reluctantly selling my Morris Minor Pickup as we need to thin the fleet (of three) out so we can down size for retirement see details below

Year: 1970 "J" registered in Northampton
Colour: Green (Landrover Deep Bronze green)
Engine: 1098cc
Modifications: Alternator. Halogen headlamps. front telescopic dampers.
Interior: Black with tan LCV seat covers. 4 door black door panels.

All drive train is original spec except back axle has a Traveller differential rather than the LCV lower geared version. For me this made it more relaxing driving at higher speeds.

The pick-up is in very good condition throughout and comes complete with an original tilt and custom made tonneau cover. The car was completely reassembled and restored by me from bottom up over a few years and the chassis. cab and back are in  very good condition. The Chassis has not been welded except for a spring hanger pin (replaced with a genuine BMC repair item from MMOC spares ) and a small area to where the back bolts down to the chassis at the very back.

For protection of the rear end I have fitted a tow bar.

Overall the condition of the car is very good but not in concourse condition and there are some marks to the paintwork on the back.

The engine and all other mechanical components including brakes are in very good order. The gearbox was reconditioned and has all new synchros and bearings and is excellent in operation.
