Hi and welcome to this auction of this fabulous 1974 Citroen D5 Special. I am listing this item on behalf of my uncle who does not have an Ebay account.

This car has been in my uncle's ownership for the last 12 years during which time he has lovingly restored the car to the condition that can be seen in the photographs. Whilst it has to be said that the car can not be described as concours it is in excellent condition for its year. The only reason that he is now selling his pride and joy is that the years are now marching on and he no longer seems to make use of the car and feels it is now the time for someone else to enjoy this classic vehicle. Since the last MOT the car has only covered 600 miles. The car has been garaged during his ownership. The beauty of the D5 is the 5th gear which makes the car glide along the open road saving the MPG.

Since owning the car it has undergone a professional respray which has lasted well except for slight signs of osmosis on the fibreglass roof. The front seats and interior trim interior have been recovered in black leather.

Any necessary welding has been done underneath the car.

The car is based in South Devon and can be viewed by appointment prior to the end of the auction. The car will come with a new 12 month MOT and the road tax runs to the end of September. The car has a realistic reserve placed on it but please do not ask as to how much it is nor is there a buy it now price. Being of the old school my uncle would really like the winning bidder to carry on loving this car as he has done for the last few years.

Any questions will be honestly and promptly answered either by myself or my uncle.

The car would need to be collected in person within 48 hours from the end of the auction with cash on collection.
