1978 Citroën 2CV Charleston for sale

CITROEN 2 CV CHARLESTON.
Titled 1978 to be able to bring it into the country. but is actually a 1980-1981.
This was a common practice on these cars as they could not be brought into the USA unless they had antique status. due to emission standards.
Made in France. these cars are cult cars in Europe. but very few have come to the USA.
. All original.
. 2 Cylinder air cooled boxer engine.
. 4 Speed Transmission.
. Front disc brakes.
Rear drum brakes.
. Top rolls back making it an open car (i. e. . convertible). Top is excellent.
. Most desirable color combination of the Charleston model.
. Excellent condition.
Body has (NO rust).
. Excellent interior.
. Tires like new.
. Undercarriage and suspension in perfect condition.
. Runs excellent.
40+ mpg.
. Extremely reliable and easy to work on.
This car had a complete restoration in France and was owned by and placed in a museum.
It was later sold and purchased by a dealer of specialty cars in Florida and shipped to Pennsylvania where it has been used only for shows and cruses.
Always garage kept and driven only in good weather.
The car won best of show in class at the Citroen Nationals in New York several years ago and has been kept in that same condition.
This car draws more attention and interest at car shows and cruses than you can imagine!
