Here we have my much loved mk1 Golf GTI. This car has a huge spec and has had thousands upon thousands of pounds spent on it.
My reason for selling is just to create some room in the garage and general lack of use.  
The car has been re sprayed in its original Lhasa Green paint and is sitting on genuine BBS RS 001 7. 5" front & 8" Rear with Radinox dishes. It really is one of the best mk1's I have seen and you may well have seen her at edition 38 over the past 5 years.  
The original engine has had the most money spent on it where TSR have done their magic to make this thing an absolute rocket. All invoices to prove as seen in the pictures.  
The car also benefits from a rare G60 Rallye half leather interior.
The car has been dry stored in my garage with the added protection of an indoor cover. It has not been driven during the salty wet winter months and only comes out on dry sunny days.

Bottom ball joint spacers and comp sport spherical track rod ends fitted. these are under-slung which greatly corrects the steering geometry

New Stainless front and rear bumpers from VW heritage

BBS RS 001 staggered wheels with basically new nankang tires.

TSR 280mm G60 big brake conversion

EBC green stuff pads

Braided brake lines all round

Flushed tailgate and rear wiper removed & smoothed

Towing eyes removed and smoothed

Audi 80 color-coded tilt slide sunroof

Single wiper conversion

Golf rallye G60 half leather seats. Very rare

Brand new carpets/ sound deadening underlay

As usual there are a few bad points with every car. There are a couple of small paint blisters and there is a scratch on the n/s front door where someone at the edition38 show managed to damage it.  One of the clips in the sunroof has broken but it still functions as should.  

I am in no rush to sell this car but will listen to sensible offers. I Just need some more space in the garage and I find it a shame that it doesn't get used as much as it should be.

I would recommend coming to look at the car to see its the real deal of mk1's. The car has currently run out of MOT but it will come with 12 months for new owner.
