1976 Austin Mini Pick Up - fully restored and ready to show for sale

Here we have a 1976 Austin Mini Pick -Up . over the past 7 years this car has been the subject of a full ' nut and bolt ' body restoration as well as an overhaul of most mechanical components to create a very nice vintage Mini. I have numerous photo's of the restoration in progress.
Although first registered on the 1 st of March 1976 . It now has been upgraded to my personal spec. using a later 'Cooper' 1275 cc engine. which runs very well. having covered just 66. 00 miles The head has just been overhauled.
Runs on UNLEADED fuel.
The seats are covered in blue leather and were originally from a Jaguar XJS. a new black carpet set has been fitted. the bodywork has been re-finished to a very good standard.
The car has had only 3 owners before me in nearly 40 years.
It still retains the correct pressed steel grille in the front panel ( not a later incorrect Mini saloon front panel ) and sliding windows.
It drives very well and changes up and down the gears as it should. a new clutch has been fitted along with new brake and clutch master cylinders. full replacement of ALL braking components. new 'Hi-Lo' adjustable suspension system . 12 in 'Minilite' alloy wheels with 8. 4 disc brakes on the front. Fitted servo and numerous other parts to make this a fully usable Mini. the underside is as clean as the topside as it was all painted at the same time. just take a look at the photo's
If you are looking for a properly restored and fully sorted Mini Pick Up. this one may fit the bill for you. its not 'Mint' ( a very over-used and abused term ) and its nowhere near the cheapest you'll find. but it is probably one of the best you will ever see.
The rear bed cover is new. and it comes with the frame for the rear tilt. With the car is the original handbook and the original 'Passport to Service' book along with some old paperwork. MOT's. Tax discs and invoices. To be sold with a new 12 months MOT. Viewing is available in North Nottingham.
Show it or just drive it. this little truck will turn more heads than a Ferrari !.
