Vauxhall Victor FD

Cologne V6 engine swap

 

This auction is for my Vauxhall Victor FD. fitted with a 3 litre Cologne V6 engine.

 

I bought this car about a year ago; once I'd seen it. nbsp;I just HAD to have it!

Unfortunately. I've barely had time to enjoy the car. so it's time it went to a new home where it can be appreciated better.

 

As the photographs show. this is a stunning vehicle. FD Victors are already rare and. and the modifications to this car make it something rather special.

 

The engine swap was carried out by a previous onwer. I'm afraid my knowledge of the work done is very limited. beyond the fact that it has been done to a high standard.

 

Some key features:

Cologne V6 engine swap. fitted to a high quality

Custom paint work

Recaro leather front seats

TAX EXEMPT!

Registered correctly; V5 features correct engine details.

 

BAD POINTS:

As shown in the photographs. there is some bubbling beneath the paint on the rear quarters. some of which has broken through.

Beyond that. I cannot think of any real problems. although I have only owned the car for around a year. and have done perhaps 100 miles in that time.

 

STEREO:

Upon buying the car. I decided to fit a modern stereo system. as follows:

Sony CDX-DAB700U head unit (iPod compatible). /strong>

JL Audio 4500 Amp (high quality). /strong>

EDGE sub-woofer (inexpensive unit from Halfords).

 

The wiring for the stereo has been run. and will be left in place. I appreciate that not everyone wants such a stereo in their classic. so the buyer will have to option to buy the system AT ADDITIONAL COST. if they want it. This can be arranged in in person by the lucky winner. Everything needed to complete the installation will be included. should the winner take this option.
