1978/9 Triumph Spitfire rolling shell.
It is what it is - A rolling shell with a pair of doors attached and a bonnet.
The chassis is probably one of the best I have seen in a while. Doesn't seem to have any patching on the front at all which is rare.
The rest of the chassis looks good too. A good starting point.
The body-shell needs work but it could probably suffer being patched up as none of the rot seems extensive. Just little bits here and there.
Front bulkhead is good. Floors good aside from a couple of bits round drain holes. "A" posts appear sound. Lower "B" post / Sill area needs patching. Rear bulkhead looks sound. Boot floor needs doing. Rear wings are good. Rear panel is good.
Bonnet needs work at the seams and the front edge. Probably could do with a new strengthener panel.
Comes with a gearbox (condition unknown) and a few odd mechanical parts and some odd trim bits (all needing attention)
Needs to be moved fairly smartish as I need the room.
Was intended to be done but the need to reduce number of projects takes precedence.
Have a V 5 in my name and will give full receipt on purchase.
