History:

1985-2007 Originally purchased by a VW mechanic in Ohio with his employee discount. The Van was exclusively used by him and his wife to travel to Florida during winter months from 1985 until 1991. Original service records are stamped by the dealership from brand new until 38k miles when they retired and moved to FL. The Van was then stored in a climate controlled garage from '91 until '07 he unfortunately passed away. It was then passed on by his wife to his brother in law who knew the Van was special!

2007-present After taking the van out of storage it was completely gone through to make sure everything was up to date. Complete tune up. coolant flush. new fuel tank. new tires. new belts etc. The original owner stored it properly so everything was in fantastic condition.

Recent Maintenance:

*all German or OEM parts used when available. I buy all my parts from GoWesty or Van-Cafe. Thousands of dollars and hours have gone into this van over the past few years. She is worth every penny and is very reliable! Most work was simply preventative maintenance.

New steering rack & pinion New poptop seals all around New tires (about 4k miles ago) New skylight seal New propane tank New submersible sink pump A/C converted to R134a New water pump New fuel pump New gas tank

+ much more including a complete tune up and coolant flush done 4/2013

Shipping/Payment:

Shipping or local pickup is available. I have had very good luck using uShip and I would be happy to save you some money by dropping the van off at the nearest port. For example you can ship this van from Tampa to Los Angeles for roughly $800 port to port. Payment is due within 5 business days. I can hold the van for a few weeks until your shipper or you arrive to pick it up. Title in hand.
