This is a Frostrite Jeans, VW released a special edition with denim interior and other upgrades, paint, wheels door cards etc once delivered to dealer groups, a local Cambridge dealer (Jack Frost) then upgraded the standard Jeans beetle naming it the Frostrite Jeans Beetle adding a vinyl roof, vw mudflaps, chrome door handle inserts. This vehicle according to the Jeans Beetle register is the only one left in existence. The vehicle has been recently restored however most of the vehicle is still original we have tried to keep as much as possible original, still has original denim interior although this has been dyed also the vehicle has only had an external paint with the inside still original , 2 owners from new full dealer service up to 1996, 49 k miles from new, the current owner has owned this vehicle since 1996 and was a Jack Frost employee in the 70's and was involved in the Jack Frost spec of this vehicle.
