1967 splitscreen camper van

Offered for sale is my 1967 11 window split screen camper that is in good overall condition with a current MOT that expires in July. This bus is all up and running but does require a service. nbsp;a good tune up and also some engine seals replacing as it does drip some oil.  The bus has a 1600 twin port engine that runs smoothly and does not blow any smoke . The bus is currently running at the standard ride height and the front and rear suspensions are all standard components including the reduction boxes etc.

This bus has very solid wheel arches. doors. sills and rain gutters.  Around the body there are a few isolated bubbles but nothing that is breaking through or that will require attention any time soon.  The bus has 6 pop out windows and all of the window and door rubbers throughout the vehicle are in good condition. Overall the paintwork on the bus is very presentable with various areas that have patina / rub through which I personally like.

Inside the bus its pretty plain in the back but does come with two 3/4 rock and roll beds as I was planning to install a basic camping interior. The headliner in the bus is extremely nice with no tears.  Up front there is a single drivers seat and also a double seat. The wheels are the standard 14" steel wheels and the tyres are a matched set that all have very good tread.

I recently spent £300. 00 on new parts fron Alan Schofield's for the bus and these include new headlight surrounds. a new main heater tube. a full new set of wheel nuts. a new correct indicator unit. nbsp;new handbrake cables and 3 new pop out window catches as the originals were snapped when I got the bus. All of these parts are included in the sale.  I have also bought a two speed wiper switch as the one currently fitted is a single speed unit. The floors on the bus are all solid but repairs have been made previously to the cargo floor. chassis. inner sills and one small area of the cab floor but all of the work is solid and strong.  

Overall this is a good bus and a fantastic starting point for someone to finish as they want without spending months in the garage or a lot of money. I am selling for a genuine reason and I encourage anyone interested to come and view the bus for themselves so that you know exactly what the condition is.
