For sale is a 1972 Dodge Dart located in our Indianapolis Showroom. This 3 owner '72 Dart was originally purchased new in January of 1972 in Glascow. Kentucky and owned until 1998 when it went to the second owner. The car was always garaged and well taken care of as you can see by the original interior. vinyl top. and mostly original paint aside from a few touch ups due to some dings and scratches. This 1972 Dodge Dart for sale is powered by its rebuilt 340 CID V 8 engine. backed by a 904 3-speed automatic transmission. and running to a 8 3/4" posi rear end with 3. 23 gears. The second owner replaced the original 318 with a date code correct 340 CID V 8 back in 2001 with 44. 55 on the odometer which is now at 52. 59.

The 340 also received a Mopar electronic ignition. Accel 8 mm plug wires. Mopar cast iron intake and an Edelbrock 650 CFM carburetor. The addition of a nice set of TTI polished ceramic coated long tube headers running out to a 2 1/2" Flowmaster dual exhuast system not only look good but also have a rich deep tone that will draw attention. The original 904 transmission was also gone through with a new pump. pump bearing. and pump housing. and seals. The original 7 1/4" rear end was also replaced with a beefier 8 3/4" rear end with an Auburn posi unit and 3. 23 gears. The steering and suspension components were also freshened up with a "Steer and Gear" firm feel steering box. PST Polygraphite bushings and ball joint kit. and a 1 1/8" front sway bar.
