An innovative vehicle providing quality family transport with a touch of performance. Sharing a lot of parts and design with its sports stable-mate (Jupiter) these cars are quite drivable on modern roads having both suspension and brakes to keep up. The 1500cc flat-four engine gives adequate power so this is not an antique which must stay in the garage but its a good enjoyable classic which can be used for running around as well as going to shows where it will turn heads.

This car has been stripped to bare metal and all the body problems have been fixed so the structure is rock solid. The rolling gear. drive system. nbsp;suspension and brakes are perfectly sound and need no further work. As part of its rebuild the whole underside (after being taken back to bare metal) has been painted and then undersealed. Since the work was done the car has been stored in a dry garage.

The interior needed some attention so 7 years ago it was stripped and restored. The seat covers are as original but the door trim. carpets. headlining are newly remade and fitted. The dash and metal interior trim has all been repainted/re-varnished. Interior door handles and window winders could do with re-chroming and to be picky the steering wheel and gear level would benefit from a rework - but this car is nonetheless. very tidy. just not quite a concourse winner.

It starts. runs and drives. but as I've not used it for too many years it could do with being driven and then the carbs and timing tweaked to settle it down a little. That also means you should plan on trailing it away.

As with all tidy. but not concourse. cars the new owner will find a number of details that will be entertaining and satisfying to remove a part then. clear/refurbish and refit. That is the delight of owning an old car. With winter coming. now is the ideal time to buy a good solid tidy car that you can spend a bit of time over winter in the garage and come spring you will have a show winner. or just a very nice car to drive around in.

Cheap. classic motoring. who can ask for more.

BTW. why am I selling? I currently have two Jowetts and two classic bikes. neither my time nor the garage allows me to devote sufficient time and space to do justice to all of them. so one has to go.
