1967 Alfa Duetto - 2 L custom Jafco turbo

Partially restored: 1967 Alfa Duetto - 2 L Custom Jafco Turbo – 53051 mi. Fuel Injected with performance suspension. Five-star Cromodoras wheels and custom intake and exhaust manifolds.

Boxes of extra parts. gauges. many electrical. Has been stored for the last 9 years under car cover in an apartment garage. Engine runs! 110 psi even across all cylinders. but does burns oil from turbo

Needs: Battery. turbo rebuild. and tires. Metal floor sections of the running boards will need replacement (see pics). Top is useable and lastly paint.

History: I bought the Duetto in August of '93 with the turbo conversion already installed and over the next ten years. as a strong runner. I started to complete the Turbo Duetto project. adding suspension components. the Cromodoras. Personnal wheel. roll bar. limited-slip differential. and other parts from Norman Racing in Berkeley. CA. My intention was to make it a street-legal Duetto. which would also be a capable track car. The Duetto ran quite well with the adjustable turbo boost turned down. it acted like a normal 2 L injected Alfa. already smooth and fast. Dialed-up. say to 10 lbs. it would truly rev. just flying through the gears. The adjustable boost turbo. injected 2 L. performance suspension and light body makes it a real blast to drive. This is likely the fastest Alfa on e Bay

The Duetto has been hibernating for the last 9 years and it's now time to give someone else the option seeing the original vision through or going back to all stock. Of the few 1967 Duettos ever produced. it makes this. a true collectable classic. The hard-to-find parts are mostly there so either way it will make a beautifully and fast Duetto.

Engine:

2 L. Fuel Injected Alfa engine runs and built low-compression for turbo (just checked compression - 110 psi across all cylinders!)

Turbo (now burns lots of oil) has adjustable boost gauge in dash

Custom intake and exhaust manifolds

Water injection system for turbo - partially installed but not currently working

New Corello lens covers for lights. with extra Hella headlights flat face w/100 w bulbs

Warden Dean spring-set. only rear currently installed

Front over-size (~7/8”) sway bar with hyme joints and extra ft. sway bar

Rear sway bar (~1/2”) with poly bushings installed

Koni adjustable shocks

Original seat on driver's side no passenger seat

Limited slip rear differential from '80 spider
