Once in a lifetime opportunity to own an original survivor class Firebird Formula with only 5600 original miles.

Yes this car has only 5600 original miles.

The original owner who resided in Grosse Point Michigan babied and cherished this car and was afraid to drive it to work in Detroit for fear of being stolen so he left it at home and only drove it occasionally for pleasure.

The car retains all of its original paint. interior. trim. wheels and tires. keys. books. and even the original Hurst Hatch T-Top bag.

The body and paint is quite amazing in person with a like new shine that is deep in color.

The decals are flawless and are bright and 100% intact.

The trim and glass are all original also.

The interior still has that new car smell and all materials are original including the headliner which will need to be re glued .

I did not want to touch it because I want the next owner to truly receive the car in its original state.

The dash. console . steering wheel. wood grain. door panels. etc. are all flawless and as new as you will ever see.

This car received the factory authorized Hurst Hatch T-tops and they are perfect with beautiful glass that has the HH logo on them along with the original HH bag for trunk storage.

The latches are nice and tight still and have zero play or rattles.

Great cruiser car with the T-Tops off.

Very rare option for the Formula that year.

The engine and trans runs super smooth and the car drives like new.

It is quite impressive to get behind the wheel of this time capsule and feel like you are back in 1978 with the sounds. feel. and overall driving experience this Formula delivers .

The car has been gone through by a certified mechanic and the following work was done to get the car roadworthy

1). New exhaust system work 2) New AC compressor and condenser 3). New Waterpump 4) New fuel line work 5). Engine carb and vacuum work
The cars still has its original tires which should be replaced.

They are for show only and shouldn't be driven on.
