Instead. this one lets its Burgundy paint do all the talking.

It's a shade borrowed from the factory palette in '66. but a thorough professional respray gives it the kind of luster and depth make people take notice the moment the sunshine hits the super straight sheetmetal.

Plus. noting looks better on a pillarless hardtop coupe body than a pristine black vinyl roof.

Pontiac's subtle hood scoop hints at the power underneath. and the big. bright chrome bumpers are great reminders of Pontiac's wide track design.

Pontiac nailed the interior of the GTO in every way: comfortable. sporting. and refined. with just a hint of European sophistication. This complete package made the GTO an adult's sports car. and the comfortable bucket seats. full plie carpeting. and wood-rimmed steering wheel all work towards that end. All of this looks like it has been updated recently with the period-correct pieces. and so nothing gets in the way of the dark black appearance.

The round gauge package is always a nice sporty touch. and if those don't keep you entertained. the updated AM/FM/cassette stereo will.

Pontiac's famous 389 cubic-inch V 8 is a legend that doesn't need much introduction.

It looks exceptionally honest in the engine bay. and it even wears the correct 093 heads.

There's some nice chrome touches on the air cleaner and valve covers. It makes plenty of power with a four-barrel carburetor. Edelbrock intake. and long-tube headers. The crackle from the dual exhaust will make this irresistible to take out on the road.

That's why it's backed up by a new aluminum radiator. and all the belts wires and hoses show signs of good maintenance.

TERMS OF SALE

Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

A $500 Paypal deposit is required immediately upon selecting the Buy-It-Now option. The $500 Paypal deposit is non-refundable as ending an e Bay auction and not buying the vehicle is very damaging to the seller. Any refunds will be at the sole discretion of Streetside Classic Cars and are not guaranteed.

If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close. vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come. first serve basis.

For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred). cashier's check. or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears).
