Some guys like the process more than the result. while some of us are 100% finish line-oriented. With Cobra replicas. it always comes down to building one from scratch versus buying a finished car. If you fall into the latter category and you're ready to hit the road instead of spending the next two years in the garage instead of out on the road. take a good. long look at this gorgeous blue Cobra.



If you've done any research into Cobra kits. you've probably heard of Superformance. probably the preeminent Cobra replica company in the world. and certainly among the most accurate. The bottom line on any Cobra is the build quality. and this one was done extremely well and has about 16. 00 miles since it was finished. so reliability is a non-issue-it's 100% ready to rock today. Bodywork is excellent on this car. and even the best fiberglass bodies need the attention of a pro body man to make them look their best. We don't know what this one looked like when it came out of the box. but today the panels are straight. gaps are good. and the paint finish has been carefully color sanded and buffed. Panel fit is quite good. and it's obvious someone was watching the details as this one went together. It has exactly the right look with front-mounted oil cooler. wind wings. and the chrome roll bar behind the driver. and correct Cobra badges further blur the line between this one and an original.



Inside. there's no question this is a driver's car. Correct low-back black leather buckets racing seats have been installed. giving it a very authentic look. But it's far from minimalist in there. with carpeted floors and a padded dash. as well as a set of Cobra-logo floor mats. A leather-wrapped steering wheel makes it easy to hang on tight. along with a set of Smiths gauges that include a reverse-rotation speedometer. just like the original. There is no radio. of course. but both heat and defrost are included. useful when you put the top up and install the sidecurtains on a cool evening.



The heart of any Cobra is the engine. and the 460 cubic inch big block in this silver specimen doesn't disappoint. The motor was fully rebuilt 1. 00 miles ago. it was originally a solid lifter motor. but for reliabilities sake a full roller assembly was installed. Punched out to 514 inches. it features a full roller valvetrain. a Weiand Stealth intake. all fed by a massive 950 Holley. Lots of billet and chrome dress up the engine bay. and the big 460 looks surprisingly appropriate in there. A Tremec TKO600 5-speed backs the potent V8. which is probably something every Cobra driver in the '60s would have wished for. 3. 73 gears in a Ford 8. 8 inch housing are a great choice. because a lightweight like this simply doesn't need an excessively tall cog. The suspension is part of the Superformance kit. not recycled from a donor car with an unknown number of miles on it. and the brakes are Wilwood discs at all four corners. Wheels are a modern twist on traditional Halibrand alloys wearing 275/40/17 front and 335/35/17 rear Michelin Pilot radials.

TERMS OF SALE  

1. Per the eBay User Agreement. by placing a bid you are entering into a legally binding contract and are committed to purchasing the vehicle described above. The details of this commitment are further outlined in the eBay User Agreement.

2. Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

3. The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

4. A $1. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction's close.   This deposit reserves the vehicle and removes it from the market. Acceptable payment types for deposit are: credit card. wire transfer. cashier's check. and money order.

5. If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close. vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come. first serve basis.

6. Streetside Classic Cars has represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact us directly to provide additional information or answer any questions.

7. Please be aware that all pre-owned vehicles. regardless of age. mileage. or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Streetside Classic Cars encourages bidder to have a personal inspection completed prior to delivery to help ensure your satisfaction. Third party inspections are to take place prior to a vehicles shipment or delivery.

8. All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied.

9. Final or winning bid price does not include shipping. tax. title. or registration fees. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any state or local taxes and shipping expenses resulting from the sale.

10. We can assist you in delivery through our network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody.

11. Streetside Classic Cars bears no liability and shall be held harmless for any complications. expenses. or damages resulting from a failure to meet these terms as they have been set forth and established herein.

12. An additional documentation fee of $199 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale.
