Sometime in the mid 1980's this car was shipped from California to a Volvo dealer in MA.
Where a total of over $25. 00 was spent. upgrading the car to then modern running gear. to include a B 20 engine. punch out to 2. 2 litres. mated to a large valve fuel injected cyclinder head. with twin 40 webber DCOE's. ported and polished. high performance cam shaft. the whole assembly was balanced. plus a set headers. with a 4 speed with electric overdrive.
1800 ES rearend with disc brakes
Performance suspension lowered polyeurthene bushings
Heavy duty springs. shocks. sways bars.
