For sale is this beautiful example of a Limited Edition 1983 Trans Am Daytona 500 Pace Car with 53. 00 original miles. This car is the most well documented Pace Car available. I have the original window sticker & the original "Assembly Check List" (dated 3-14-83). This car was also "rust proofed" on 11-4-1982 with Quaker State Metal Guard when it had 11. 2 miles on it. which kept the vehicle rust free from the "window line down".
This car runs & drives just like new. This TA has always been stored indoors & very well maintained. I've always run 93 octane "Premium" fuel or "91 octane ethanol free" fuel. I just had a brand new exhaust & tailpipes professionally installed. The tires (BFG's) have less than 500 miles on them. The brakes have been replaced with OEM equipment & are flawless.

Interior:

Highly optioned. all original (with exception of the aftermarket JVC radio. I still have the original). the seats are great with minor wear on the drivers side.

**The T-tops are perfect. easy to remove & install.

Mechanical:

Engine is all stock (unmolested) 305 HO that runs absolutely amazing. I just had the spark plugs changed. the cooling system flushed & a New OEM water pump installed.
The Transmission is stock equipment (5 speed manual) Very Rare on these TA's. you can buy automatic cars all day for 8-10 K
Rear axle is a 3. 73 Gear Ratio with Factory Limited Slip option
New Dual Exhaust & tailpipes
