1981 Pontiac Firebird Formula

This is a perfect 1981 Pontiac Firebird Formula that is just spectacular.

This is a US Import. is LHD and is in perfect restored condition. When we bought the car in 2011 it was a low milage. all original solid car from a large private car collectors show room in Florida. When we shipped the car over to Melbourne it broke its lashings on the ship and got damaged. So since then it has had a full restoration and new bare metal spray job done on it by Style Rod Panels and came out breath taking.

it has only done 16240 miles since new.

is the great 3. 8 L Buick V 6 that drives like a dream. gives great performance while giving you fantastic fuel economy. It is the matching numbers engine for the car.

Computer Controlled Carburettor

that feeds the fuel into the engine giving it great fuel economy. This is another rare feature as it only featured on the last of the Firebirds. We have a spare computer for it as well so no worries there.

Automatic Transmission

in matching numbers and it changes so soothly you can't even feel it.

The beautiful

Red Interior

is made of vinyl and is once again in great condition. no damage at all .

The Body

is dent free and is one of the best I have seen. it has been looked after very well since the restoration.

and in many other car shows around Melbourne.

It has its

O riginal T Tops . these are the better Fisher body T Tops and they are in fantastic condition.

All the

Gauges

have been checked and are spot on. And all of its other features like rear window defrost work great.

Front Disc Brakes and Rear Drums . The rear drums have been rebuilt recently and it has great stopping power.

Rare W heels

from the factory are all original and again in great condition. they are rare as i have not seen another firebird with them and you can not replace them.

New Tires

have been fitted recently and look awesome.

Fisher body

have rust treated the whole car so it will never rust. A new Headliner has been installed. It has the Formula Racing Shifter in it. The original Boot Release in glove box. It has a Modern Radio in it. but it looks like the original. It will come with the original radio so you can swap back if you want All the Original GM Stickers are still on it Electric Windows that work perfectly It will be sold with the V 6 BIRD Plates The Carpets are in fantastic condition and are original It also has lots of spares that come with it The Jack and Spare Tyre are in fantastic original condition
