1973 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series for sale

Immaculately kept late '72 production run of the W 107 series with low-compression 4. 5 litre V 8 and 225 HP. This was the last year of the 350 SL badge and before the engine was reduced to 175 HP and burdened with the larger (and far less attractive) bumper assemblies. Have all original order/delivery documentation dating from Nov. 1972 with all original manuals and tool sets. I am the second owner and always garaged this beauty. driving only in Summer in fair weather. I have driven less than 1. 00 Mi since taking ownership in 2011.
In 2011 installed: 4 new Bilstein shocks 4 new Coker Vredestein Sprint Classic Touring Tires 205/70/14 Radial Blackwall New A/C and recharged with R 134 a New wiper motor New belts New front upper control arms and bushings New front bearings and tie rods New battery/cables New hoses and clamps New Bosch ignition coil New spark plugs/wires/distributor cap Rebuilt idler assembly
In 2016 Installed: New engine sub-frame and mounts New sway bar end links New lower control arm bushings New rear differential oil and seals New fuses (all) New A/C belt and belt tensioner Flushed and replaced all fluids with regular oil changes since (most recently in June 2016)

Custom after-market rear jump seat in matching Beige MB Tex with 2 legal seat belts to replace the original carpeted bench seat. which I will also include in the sale.

This classic roadster has a gorgeous original chocolate brown cloth top. as well as a matching hard top. also in very good condition. I am including a custom fitted storm cover which has grommets for a cable lock.
This car is a great value for its age. the extensive restoration work and very clean condition. It draws a lot of attention from everyone wherever you drive. Be prepared for people to stop to ask you about it and tell you how beautiful it is! It is perfect for a daily driver. It starts immediately. drives smoothly and has always passed emission inspections. Comes with a full-size integrated spare tire.
