This Great  Example was supplied by
A Dealership in Newark . I believe the car was built in December 1965 with the spec of Black Leatherette. and wheel rims of Silver. One year only wheels.
The car was registered in May 1967. remained with the initial owner until late 1992. the second owner then disposed of the vehicle again in 97 . the third owner retained him until 2004. the vehicle has remained until now with the 5th owner.
The third owner sadly mislaid most of the history.
A GREAT EXAMPLE WAS IN STORAGE  FOR MANY YEARS BUT NOW HAS BEEN A DAILY DRIVER FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS. OUT AND RUNNING PERFECTLY.
A good solid vehicle known as Bertie. wheel well. sills. Inner arches. loors all solid. I am running around daily in him
 coachwork is great and very presentable in the sort after Savanna Beige.
All chrome parts . trim. are original Factory VW Parts. except for the hub caps which have been replaced over the years.
The vehicle was fitted from Factory with Towel Rail Bumpers. here is slight wear to the part of the chrome but again very presentable.

All original features are still intact and working . switches. washers. heating buttons etc.
All windows travel correctly up and down.
Heating works front and back. .  the channels are simply Solid. ills  
The trim inside is original. there is a defect to one door grab handle. The Headlining is ok. Seats are pretty much perfect as I had the drivers and passengers seats completely re trimmed .
The vehicle has the original Headlining . Steering wheel . all in Good Condition and No rips.
Petrol Gauge works
12 Volt system works perfectly and Brightly.
HE IS NOT PERFECT ITS NEARLY FIFTY YEARS OLD . BUT FROM THE ONES I HAVE VIEWED THIS IS A GREAT CAR FOR A GREAT CLASSIC CAR PERSON.

PLEASE NOTE :-)  The Near side front wing had a mark and some surface rust . as well as a dent . I have had this repaired this week and now the rear quarter . door and front wing have just been resprayed . I authorised this to avoid any major colour mismatch and was supplied and matched by Mitchells of Burgess Hill. I also decided to have the Grab handle repaired as mentioned on the inside door. so the car looks amazing . nbsp;
