For sale . our 1979 VW Type 2 Campervan .
First registered in 1979 in Germany it was registered in the UK on 25. 4. 1986
A fine example of a T 2 campervan which we no longer have the time to make use of.
Bought in May 2010 we have owned it for six years
This was a custom conversion from a tin top to pop top and has a surfing theme.
There is the usual rock and roll bed. sink . grill and hob.
with space for a cool box fridge next to the water container.
The interior is fittted with Recaro seating in blue and cream. and a surfboard table
A freeview tv has been fitted to complement the sound system
Two optics are fitted close to the worktop and a playstation is concealed behind the rear single seat.
All in all a very cool van which has won many prizes at shows over the years.
Orange lights are close to floor level as well as upper uv lighting and a normal strip light .
Below the rear seat is a mini vw van in a clear view section. which houses part of the speaker system.
The rear floor is a laminate floor . easy to keep clean.
The pop top section has surf board shaped 'windows' as well as the usual roll back section to reveal fly screens.
There is a manual ventilation section in the centre of the pop top roof.
Seat belts are fitted to the two front seats.
Once buyer has commited to purchase a new MOT will be provided before collection.
