UP FOR SALE IS OUR 1974 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE/SUPERBUG

This bug has been nothing but reliable during our ownership and we are sad to see it go.
Our Sunday driver which can handle the freeway with ease.

It is the Sought after "L" bug with rack and pinion steering (much easier to maneuver)
Many $ were spent to put this beetle on the road. assed a roadworthy only 11 months ago.

(Please Note. Car is Beige not Yellow)

Good Points:

*Rebuilt Twin Port 1600 Motor in 2014 (Done by previous owner. standard rebuild with new pistons and barrels. will try track down paperwork)

Major Maintenance completed September 2015. Traveled under 1000 kms since

* Brakes Overhauled. New Drums/shoes on Rear. Brake Pads replaced at Front. New Wheel Cylinders and Brake Lines

*New Nankang 185 R 15 tyres X 4 with Atlas Portawalls and Steel Rims painted in 2 k Mazda 'Soul Red'

* Brand New 34 Pict Carburetor - German build

*Engine Bay Rewired

*Full Tune Up By 'Imported in Springvale' - New Engine/Transaxle Oil - Spark plugs and Leads Replaced - Valve Adjustments Set

*Front Windscreen replaced

*Trunk Rubber Seal and Door Seals replaced.

*MF 55 Supercharge Gold Battery Installed

*Chrome Dipstick. Oil Filler and Alternator stand installed

*New Venetian Blinds installed 2015

* Good Condition Interior - High Back Front Seats and Retrimmed custom rear seats - Fronts are included but not installed

*Aftermarket Boss Kit and Woodgrain Steering Wheel

*Hoodliner and carpet in excellent condition

*Solid Floorpan/Battery Tray etc

Bad Points

* Few marks and scratches on body as to be expected due to age of vehicle

*Small Rust spots starting to appear on drivers side roof gutter (photos included)

*Drivers door jamb has had rust repairs by previous owner. firm shut required.
