EXTERIOR
Aesthetically identical to its 308 GTB sister. the 208 is resplendent in Rosso. The paint appears fresh throughout. and while not wholly flawless. is very respectable. The bodywork maintains a glossy shine and the deep front spoiler delivers a purposeful stance. On closer inspection the panel gaps are as they should be. and the glass and lenses are without fault.

INTERIOR
The cabin feels very original and presents in lovely condition. Both seats are in good order with only light surface wear on the leather to report. The driver's seat shows some evidence of usage but certainly nothing untoward for a car of this age. The dash. fascia. and centre console are free from any marking with all the central switchgear in excellent condition. The carpets throughout are very good as is the rear luggage compartment. which is complete with toolkit.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
In Ferrari tradition the ‘208' model designation is derived from the car's engine size and number of cylinders in this case it is a 2. 0 V 8. In February 2015 the engine was completely removed. stripped. and rebuilt to ensure it was running perfectly. The cambelt was also replaced. as was the gearbox oil an invoice for over £9 k specifies the parts supplied and labour undertaken.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The 208 sits on 14-inch Cromodora alloys. Shod in a matching set of period Michelin XWX tyres they present well but could certainly benefit from refurbishment if desired. The NSF shock absorber and bushes were replaced in 2015 and the steering rack was also rebuilt a four-wheel alignment was then carried out.

HISTORY FILE
The Ferrari was first registered on the 5 th March 1981. It remained in Italy until late 2014 when it was imported into the UK. Upon arrival into the country the car was checked over and serviced. Shortly after. it was MOT'd and the engine soon rebuilt. In March 2015 the Ferrari was registered to its one and only UK keeper. It has now covered just 64. 15 km. which equates to just 40. 36 miles.
