We are delighted to offer this wonderful recreation of a Jaguar
XK 120 C (C-Type) one of Jaguar's most beautiful and all time great
competition Le Mans winning sports cars of the 1950 s. Designed
purely to win one race - the 1951 Le Mans 24 Hours - the C-Type not
only won. but set a new lap record in the process. The 1952 Le Mans
race proved unsuccessful for Jaguar with all three cars entered
failing to finish. however in the 1953 race. the C-Type recorded
1 st. 2 nd. 4 th and 9 th positions and was the first motor car with a
recorded average of 100 mph at Le Mans.
This C-Type replica is based on a Jaguar S-type and as such it
drives and sounds like a Jaguar should. The blue paintwork is in
good order and we are advised she drives with no known faults. The
vendor is a classic car enthusiast and he has thoroughly enjoyed
owning this C-Type. reluctantly though he has to sell her due to
lack of suitable storage space. The 3. 8 litre engine started
immediately and sounded superb when requested this really is a car
with great presence and offers fun in abundance. Supplied with a V 5
registration document and a current Mo T test certificate. this
handsome Jaguar C-Type replica will give you the same sensation and
exhilaration as the original car but at a fraction of the cost.
