Reluctant sale of a great fun car. Widely recognised as one of the most reliable of the Lotus cars thanks to the Isuzu power plant and running gear and one of the best handling cars produced in the era. The car is not concourse as it has been used by us for enjoyment on fine day drives over the last few years but not as much lately . so we feel it's a luxury that we no longer require. We are both retired now and feel we need to dispose of it as a cost saving measure so as to enjoy other pleasures. This car is number 378 of a special run of 800 assembled by Bugatti when they owned the brand after GM had spent considerable sums of money developing it. It is an Australian compliance and delivered car. We do have it advertised in several areas and reserve the right to withdraw it from this auction if sold elsewhere.
