History of this car

Supplied new to Italy. imported to the UK this year. Our car carries desirable FIVA ASI accreditation and a numbered gold plaque and passport accompanies the car. The ASI accreditation confirms the car is in superior original condition. wears its original colour scheme and has matching numbers.

The mileage recorded is 10165 kms. probably second time round. so 110. 00 klms or 68. 00 miles which we believe. but do not warrant to be the genuine mileage from new.

We are still researching the history of the car but we think this is a 2 owner from new vehicle.

Body

Rust free throughout. The grigio escoli metallic silver paintwork on this Fulvia is excellent with a deep shine and no orange-peel. Panel fit is very good to excellent and there are no apparent signs of previous accident repair. There are no scratches or blisters anywhere on this car.

The car has been de-bumpered (original bumpers are excellent and come with the car) and sports a pair of original Carello spot lamps. Fanalone wheel arch extensions and new HF Cromodora style wheels. all of which give this example a fantastic look.

Structurally the car is excellent with sills. floors. jacking points and sub frame mounts all rock solid.

All exterior trim and glass is in excellent condition. and all lenses are undamaged.

Mechanicals

We've completed over 200 test miles in this car and can confirm the engine is super sweet and smoke free. It starts immediately. settles down to a smooth idle. and pulls strongly through the rev range and shows good oil pressure.

The engine bay is clean. original and nicely detailed with polished rocker cover and carb bodies.

Fulvias are known for their nimble handling. and this car does not disappoint. The steering is tight. the ride smooth. the brakes strong. Clearly this is a car that has been cherished and it operates as such.

Four new Michelin radials have just been fitted by us.

Interior

The sporty charisma of this example continues on the inside with a genuine and very rare original Sandro Munari steering wheel fitted. The dashboard is excellent and un-cracked. gauges are like new (rare to find in non sun bleached condition like this) and all switch gear works as it should.

Carpets are fitted which are in fine condition. there are no marks on the upholstery although the headlining has minor deterioration to limited areas. not uncommon on this model.

Boot

Original and correct. right down to the jack and tool kit.

Summary

Without a doubt one of the best Fulvias out there. and with the particularly attractive appearance of this desirable 2nd series example we do not expect it to be here long.
