Mercedes 220 1972 entered into the April 24 th Classic Car Auction.
Owned by one family from new and entered by the son. What a privilege to be given this car to sell . It has got to be possibly the best 220 on the market today Purchased new in 1972 in Germany by the father. an officer in the British Army and brought back to the UK and registered in 1974.
The history file includes the original bill of sale. It has many extras including self-levelling suspension. oil bath air cleaner etc. This 1972 Mercedes Benz 220 saloon is unique in that it is totally original inside and out. The total mileage is 87046. The service history has 9 Mercedes Benz maintenance stamps and 5 lubrication service stamps. 12 old mot's and all the books including an original maintenance manual. Finished in deep blue with tan MB Tex upholstery. When I saw this car. I was stunned. Has been kept in a self-inflating cocoon (the vendor would sell that separately if new purchaser wishes). This car must be seen to be appreciated.
