1929 Citoen AC4 Berline Saloon. LHD for sale

1929 Citoen AC 4 Saloon. Left Hand Drive.
Chassis number: 71722
Registration: 192 TM 61 (French Carte Gris)
Beautifully restored in France & in perfect condition. This AC 4 is finished in immaculate vivid blue over black with the paint having been recently done. To the interior is diamond pattern cloth to the front & rear seats giving the car a suitable gallic feel grey carpets are fitted throughout. All interior woodwork has been removed & refinished.
A full mechanical rebuild was also undertaken by the late owner prior to the car coming to the UK. The odometer was zeroed & now reads 4122 km just nicely run in. The car starts instantly & is smooth quiet & decently powerful from the rebuilt 4 cylinder 1600 cc engine. The car is equipped with 4 wheel drum brakes augmented by a Westinghouse Servo.
The car has a commodious luggage trunk the rear of a really useful size. It is split into two parts with a tool tray are to the top accessed by a folding lid. Period Marechal headlamps are fitted up front. Jager Instruments are fitted to the dash including an 8 day clock.
This is a delightful little car to drive with an easy to master three speed gear box. light steering & a lively engine. It is currently French registered & comes with a French Carte Gris. We can UK register the car should the new owner so desire. This is a perfect little car for picnic equipped jaunts in to the countryside this summer. It brings a smile to the face of all who behold it.
