The car was bought as a project car to be worked on.  it is in great shape - and has the rare roundie taillights. A great looking car!

The BMW will require a some work:

engine runs and drives. but carbs are wonky (I have a bunch of engine parts for this M10 engine) brakes are soft. I trouble shot it to the pump (have a new one in a box) suspension is okay. but likely needing a swap out for an upgrade to handle a bit betterelectrical is functional. but bare minimal – I have a new complete harness in a box ready for the swapbody is in unreal condition. some slight bubbling on the lower door frame but otherwise spotlessthe cars floor has a decent amount of rust. the drivers floor board has a fist sized hole through it. the trunk also has a similar hole through its floorthe gas tank needs replacement as it has a rust hole in the top of it the interior is mostly requiring replacement. the dash is weather cracked but fully intact. the door panels are needing repair the nose cone is in great condition. but the grill is missing some teeth (I have a new left and right grill insert) the rear tail lights are fogged and weathered (I have replacements that are in flawless condition)the engine bay is in good shape. it will require some TLC to get the same luster as its original stateall weather-stripping needs replacing (I have most of the stripping that needs replacement)

The body panels of the car (hood. trunk. doors. roof. quarter panels in the front and rear) are all in spotless shape – as mentioned above. only rust is on the floorboards of the driver and trunk.

The car used to be burnt orange. I am not sure when it was painted to be quite honest – it looks to have been done more than 15-20 years ago based on the door jam wear and tear.
