EXTERIOR
The CSK is perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing Classic Range Rover ever built. Outside. the exquisite Beluga Black paintwork is contrasted by handsome chrome bumpers and silver pinstripe coach lines; discrete silver CSK decals are positioned on both front wings with one on the lower tailgate.

The paintwork on this example is quite simply stunning. Having been subject to a recent concours restoration costing in excess of £100k. this Range Rover presents as new. The Beluga Black paintwork has a deep. glass-like shine. with all items of trim having been either completely reconditioned or replaced. It goes without saying that the CSK is 100% corrosion-free and is as fresh underneath as it is on top. with the New Old Stock chassis having been fully stone-chipped and wax oiled. Furthermore. all the lenses around the vehicle are pristine with no cracks or moisture to be found. with the chrome bumpers also presenting immaculately. We would go so far as to say there is no better example.

INTERIOR
Luxury is redefined when you step inside the CSK. There are handmade. perforated leather seats. leather door trim and a leather-covered steering wheel set off by a rich American walnut fascia rail. door handle inserts and centre console. Equipment includes a six-speaker stereo system. air-conditioning. central locking. an electrically operated sunroof. electric windows and heated door mirrors.

This example gives the impression of having been used sparingly. with the entire interior appearing very fresh indeed. The indulgent beige leather upholstery presents in fantastic condition with no unsightly scratches or cracks to behold. In fact. what really sets this example off is the originality of the interior. The carpet throughout is pristine. as are the dash and fascia; the Walnut trim shows no signs of ageing whatsoever. Present below the radio panel is the individually numbered CSK plaque. which is No. 153 in this case.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
During its fourteen-month nut and bolt rebuild the restorers took the opportunity to upgrade the Range Rover mechanically along the way. As such. the vehicle is now present with an impressive 4. 6-litre V8 as well a Kent performance cam and new lifters.

On first turn of the key the V8 roars into life with a reverberating rumble. The car features an extensive list of new mechanical components. including but not limited to the gearbox. transfer box. differentials. alternator. steering box. and stainless exhaust. Unsurprisingly this Range Rover drives like new combined with performance and reliability that definitely surpasses its factory counterparts.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The CSK sits on the correct 16-inch alloy wheels. all of which present immaculately having been powder coated. diamond cut. and polished to a very high standard. As with the rest of the car. they appear brand new. The wheels are shod in a matching set of Goodyear Wrangler all-terrain tyres showing little or no wear.

Looking underneath the vehicle you notice a new rear axle casing. new heavy-duty steering arms. new brake discs. pads. and brake lines throughout; the suspension has even been powder coated. further adding to the new-car appearance underneath.

HISTORY FILE
Range Rover CSK No. 153 was first registered on 9th December 1991 to a Mr Greaves. Following its extensive rebuild in 2013. the car has covered just 677 miles.

Present in the history file is the original CSK document binder. complete with the Range Rover Owner's Manual. CSK Supplement booklet. and original Service booklet. containing multiple Land Rover stamps. Accompanying this documentation is a veritable wealth of invoices and receipts from over the years. as well as the original Warranty Certificate as supplied to Mr Greaves when new.

An extensive invoice for the complete restoration of the Range Rover is also present. documenting exactly all the works undertaken and parts fitted.
