Inspired by the Tesla Roadster we completely restored a 1976 Porsche 912 E and created a beautiful 911 E with a high powered Net Gain 11 inch diameter electric motor and 2 K Zilla controller. Maybe the best handling Porsche in it's class considering the improved weight balance resulting from careful placment of 85 3. 3 volt Lithium Ion Lipo 4 battery cells. The car uses a Hairball Interface and features working air conditioner. heater. and radio. Custom restored leather interior is perfect and complements the high quailty paint and body work perfored by Steve Pisano of Sunshine Restorations. Rated for 82 miles of range the car is equipped with moderate discharge batteries. 280 volts and 1000 amps. I am moving and must sell. I am looking for the right buyer who appreciates and understands what owning a conversion entails. The battery pack is solid but requires careful treatment and monitoring. Faster discharge batteries would make this one of the fastest cars on the road.
The original transmittion works fine with no clutch needed. You just pick a gear 3-5 and go. I prefer 5 th gear and the acceleration is great because of the high amount of torque in electric drive. Call to discuss
