A 1969 Triumph TR 6 PI (fuel injection) matching numbers. Very rare right hand drive model. Red with a black interior. Showing 57. 00 miles on the odometer. Excellent body. no rust issues. Underwent a cosmetic restoration in 2007 and recently had mechanical/intirior work done around $6. 00 which includes engine service/tune up (receipt available. ) Runs and drives very well. Interior is presentable. leather is soft and supple. Comes with all the books and a lot of records. the spare tire and top/ tonneau and the Heritage Certificate. It was imported from UK.

“All TR 6 sports cars featured inline six-cylinder engines. For the US market the engine was carburetted. as had been the US-only TR 250 engine. Like the TR 5. the TR 6 was fuel-injected for other world markets including the United Kingdom. hence the TR 6 PI (petrol-injection) designation. The Lucas mechanical fuel injection system helped the home-market TR 6 produce 150 bhp (110 k W) (145 hp DIN) at model introduction. Later the non-US TR 6 variant was detuned to 125 bhp (93 k W) in order for it to be easier to drive. while the US variant continued to be carbureted with a mere (but more reliable 104 hp (78 k W) The UK version TR 6 PI could accelerate from zero to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 8. 2 seconds and had a top speed of 120 mph (190 km/h) according to Autocar magazine”
