Car collectors and lovers of the original and iconic first generation Ford Mustangs here is a unique opportunity to own this beautiful. clean 1966 C 2-door Ford Mustang 289 V-8
This Mustang is stock. The engine is smooth and strong and the car's automatic transmission shifts smooth and crisp. Dual Exhaust.
The original interior is clean with nice patina - see photos.
I took this Mustang to a mechanic that restores and resells Mustangs.
I asked him to describe the
condition
(keep in mind he's interested in buying the car).
He said. 'good. ' I asked him what I should do before selling. he said. 'nothing'.
I asked what he would do before reselling.
He said he would. add power steering. disc brakes. custom wheels. and paint the engine block.
He also mentioned to let other prospective buyers know it's a C class with matching door and quarter panel stamps.
I recently replaced the fuel tank. pump. and filter.
I also had the front brakes redone. The battery does draw from somewhere. but I haven't had the time to investigate and fix. but in terms of full disclosure.
This fine classic has a clean underside and although not detailed. is just what you would expect from a solid and well maintained and cared for car.
